Consultation and Training for Internal HR Teams.  Internal HR teams must be able to conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations.  When it is appropriate for an investigation to be completed internally, it is critical that the internal investigators have the skill and confidence to take on that task.  To this end, I consult with and provide training to internal HR teams on investigation related topics.  

Below is a list of my current consultation services.

General Investigation Consultation.  I consult with internal HR investigation teams concerning best practices in conducting workplace investigations.  This cost-effective approach can be tailored to a team’s unique needs.  Consultation can pertain to any and all stages of an investigation from start to finish.  Services can be provided concerning the adequacy of completed investigations, preparing for and executing current investigations, or preparing an individual or team to conduct future investigations.

Critical Thinking  and Analysis Training.  The foundation of any investigation is a solid analysis.  A solid analysis requires the Investigator to think critically about the information they receive and be able to explain why they found the way they did.  If an Investigator does not do this, the investigation may appear both unthorough and biased.  And yet, critical thinking is a skill.  Like writing, we must develop it intentionally and practice it methodically before it becomes second nature.  To this end, I provide training to internal HR teams to help develop and enhance the critical thinking skills necessary to properly analyze evidence in workplace investigations.  Critical thinking training is a cost-effective way to elevate your team’s skillset and enhance the quality of current and future internal investigations.
